We would love to welcome you to Tiverton and Bampton WI.

Tiverton WI formed as Moorhayes(Tiverton) WI in 2010 and a couple of years later were joined by the members of Bampton WI to form Tiverton and Bampton WI.

We meet on the first Wednesday afternoon each month at 2pm mainly in Tiverton at Tiverton Rugby Club. Three meetings during the year are held in Bampton at St Michaels Community hall, these usually being in March, July and November.

Our monthly meetings provide an opportunity to meet new friends, listen to interesting speakers and find out all that is happening in the local WIs, and the County and National Federations.

At Tiverton and Bampton we are a sociable mixed interest group who come to meetings for various reasons. Some may be more interested in what the speaker has to say. Others may be more interested in a good natter over a cup of tea and cake. Whatever you are interested in you will find like minded friends to share an afternoon with.

The monthly meeting normally begins with a Speaker or an activity run by one of our members. We have a varied programme through the year and members are encouraged to contribute any ideas on speakers, activities or events. This is followed by refreshments and then the meeting business. There is information available on forthcoming events that you may want to attend and there is a competition of the month and also a raffle. Members contribute £2 for tea and biscuits or cake and a raffle ticket. There is also a bring and buy table.
